Linen's best friend in winter? THE MONEY! We have three models of blankets: Aries , the thickest, we recommend it for the bed, sofa, for movies on the carpet ... The model Ovis ; the slightly lighter braid, we recommend it for the sofa, to read in the armchair, for children ... And our Orientalis blanket; striped, simpler and more modern and a little more finite. All of them are woven with two colors of wool, which gives them a very nice contrast. Green and marengo colors are dark ( screens can give wrong color clarity )
It is famous among mountain garments, famous for covering us during winter nights ... It stands out for its multiple properties and, although there are fabrics that work in extreme climates, few do it as well as merino wool but, Where does merino wool come from? The name comes from merino sheep, a sheep that comes from the Iberian region and North Africa and that is now raised anywhere in the world.
What are its properties?
-
Regulates body temperature: Even wet, merino wool continues to maintain body temperature in freezing temperatures.
-
Anti bacterial, does not retain odors: Merino wool is naturally antibacterial thanks to lanolin, a wax-like compound that prevents the growth of bacteria and odor. Therefore, it does not need to be washed frequently.
-
Repels moisture: Its fibers allow air circulation, keeping you dry in hot conditions.
-
Natural and biodegradable: A good way to contribute to the planet, as this wool disintegrates in a matter of a few years, serving as fertilizer for the earth.
-
Soft and light: Merino wool, unlike other wools, does not itch. It is the finest variety of wool that exists. Sometimes the wide fiber diameter of regular wool irritates dead skin cells, while merino wool creates the opposite effect (which is why merino wool irritates much less)
Our recommendations: A good blanket is a cozy and warm piece that you must have in your home. With a piece like this, you can give the style that you like the most to your spaces, from the most elegant to the most rustic style. We recommend that you choose the color of the blanket that best suits the style of furniture and decoration you have at home.
