Duvet pads

Many times you ask me when we talk on the phone about which one heats more and I can only speak from my experience and thinking that cold and heat is very relative, because each person feels it in a different way:
Let's think that we are talking about the same weights to make this comparison and a room at 19°C (which for me is the ideal temperature to sleep).
Wool&linen / Wool&cotton / Cotton&silk
The wool&linen has a surprising breathability. It warms but you breathe...
The wool&cotton warms up more than the wool&linen because you don't sweat as much...
The cotton&silk one warms up much more than the previous ones because silk is not as breathable as linen and it also has a spectacular sateen cotton that is not as breathable...
So; simple answer: the silk&cotton one is the warmest.

Those of you who are used to sleeping with both synthetic and bird feathers are used to having no weight...who doesn't have feather/fiber fillings completely squashed on top...?
What about natural fiber fillings, they remind you of grandmothers' blankets, or mothers' blankets from the 80's (depends on your age :) They are heavier than feathers but the fantastic thing is that with feathers you won't sweat even if you blow and with natural fibers you won't get hot. You will only want the linen pajamas or nightgown to complete the pack.

It smells like a field, like a farm...if you don't like it, forget it because that smell lingers. :)

Air it on the clothesline and if it fits in the washing machine, wash it with soap and dry it in the dryer or clothesline.
If it is too big (which I'm sure it is), take it to the laundromat; in the 12Kl washing machine it will surely fit but if you are too lazy, take it to the dry cleaner's but do not use chemical products to wash it because you will take away its freshness.
