The only care to be taken with all types of wool is washing in hot water and spin washing.
Wash wool in the washing machine with the special program for wool, lower the spin to 400mph, use a soap without peroxide or bleach, or our natural soap n°13 for linen, wool and silk that has been developed to care for and deep clean your clothes in a sustainable way.
Home Healthy Home has formulated with cold saponified organic olive oil, a very mild soap, hypoallergenic and without chemical preservatives, finally hang it out on the clothesline.

Natural fibers such as linen or cotton require gentle, pH-neutral formulas. Conventional detergents often contain harsh enzymes, optical brighteners, or bleaches that wear down the fibers over time, weakening them and making them less soft. A specialized product cleans thoroughly while preserving the fabric’s original structure and extending its lifespan.

We don't recommend it. Conventional fabric softeners create a waxy film on the fibers that reduces the fabric's natural breathability and absorbency (which is critical for sheets and towels). To keep your clothes naturally soft, simply use a mild detergent, avoid overloading the washing machine, and—if you like—add a splash of white vinegar to the fabric softener compartment to remove limescale buildup.

Whenever possible, we recommend air-drying in the shade, as very intense direct sunlight can dry out or discolor the garments. If you use a dryer, select a low-temperature cycle for delicate items and remove the clothes while they’re still slightly damp to prevent stiffness and help them regain their natural drape without ironing.

Yes. Our formulas are designed with gentle, biodegradable ingredients and are free of harsh chemicals, phosphates, and artificial dyes. Since they rinse off easily without leaving any plastic or chemical residue on the fabric, they minimize the risk of irritation, making them ideal for sensitive skin, babies, or people prone to contact allergies.

The best way to add fragrance to your clothes without staining or damaging the fibers is to use fabric mists or ironing waters made with mild essences. Spray from a distance of about 20–30 cm onto slightly damp fabric before the final drying, or directly onto made-up sheets to refresh the bedroom’s atmosphere.
