Alpaca duvet padding
FILLING FOR DUVET COVER
They are wrapped in a 100% natural cotton cover, a dense, silky, light and breathable fabric, very pleasant to the touch and with a natural glow. Perfect to combine with our 100% linen duvet covers. They are hand quilted according to the traditional quilting technology of the lingerie guild in a special way, different from machine. Thanks to this, the duvet distributes heat evenly, the filler does not shift and there are no cold spots in the seams. A hand-stitched quilt is also more durable. Ideal for people with allergies to merino wool.
Alpaca fiber is hypoallergenic, it is the perfect bedding material for people who suffer from allergies or asthma.
This alpaca fiber has been processed without using chemical products aggressive and is only washed using a mild organic soap.
This alpaca fiber does not contain lanolin or lipids of any kind. It is also dry and hollow, making it inhospitable to mites that normally nest in foam, polyester and down. Alpaca fiber is a wonderful solution for people with allergies to sheep's wool, whether the trigger is the wool's lanolin content.
We offer three levels of comforter filling to suit different needs.
Contains 400g of alpaca fiber per m2 and in European climatic conditions can be used all year round. Of course, on freezing nights, some people will want to cover themselves with an extra blanket and, in the hot summer, replace it with a sheet. It is worth remembering that the feeling of warmth
and cold is very individual. It depends on the temperature of the house, the choice of underwear for sleeping
and our personal preferences.
SUMMER
Contains 200g of alpaca fiber per m2. Perfect for spring and summer or for people
who feel hot and want to avoid overheating.
WINTER
Contains 600g of alpaca fiber per m2. It is perfect for a cold winter, especially when someone likes to sleep with the window open or often freezes, if only because of circulation problems. It is also suitable for those who decide to buy two comforters: summer and winter.
4SEASONS, with the joining of two fillings together.
The feeling of warmth and cold is a very individual matter, and the temperature in our homes is also very different.
These comforters have ribbons sewn in the hem, in each corner and in the center of each side. Thanks to this, you can join two summer quilts together and use for all seasons creating a winter quilt. The perfect solution for cold and warm nights.
You can order two comforters together as a set, or buy a summer comforter, buy an all-season comforter of the same dimensions in the fall and combine the two together on cooler nights.
Each comforter and pillow in the collection comes in its own handmade travel case.
Created in response to requests from customers who don't want to miss a night with their favorite comforter.
The travel cases are handmade with meticulous care and attention to detail, using the finest natural materials.
The travel cases are also the perfect breathable, dust-resistant solution for long-term storage of extra pillows and comforters.
Exterior: 100% cotton
Interior: 100% Alpaca Wool
Quilts filled only with 100% natural alpaca wool fiber. Alpaca wool is up to 8 times warmer and up to 4 times more resistant than sheep wool.
They are wrapped in a natural 100% natural cotton satin cover, a dense, silky, light and breathable fabric, very pleasant to the touch and with a natural shine.
They are hand quilted according to the traditional quilting technology of the linen guild in a special way, different from the machine. Thanks to this, the quilt distributes heat evenly, the filling does not move and there are no cold spots at the seams.
A hand-stitched quilt is also more durable.
Care:Regularly air your quilt outdoors, especially on warm, dry, sunny, breezy days. This should be enough to keep your bedding fresh, especially if you frequently change pillowcases and pillowcases.
Dry cleaning is acceptable. Make sure your dry cleaning service follows the instructions for wool products.
Warning: do not subject it to excessive tumble dryer heat at any time, as this can damage your comforter and void your warranty.
Please note that machine washing in cold water is not recommended, as the agitation of the drum and spin alone can move, shift or shrink the fibers within your comforter. Spot cleaning can be done with cold water and drying on clothesline.
Properties: Thermoregulatory
Alpacas come from the Andean highlands, where they withstand both severe frosts and scorching heat because their wool is made of hollow fibers that make this possible. In the same way, the comforters adjust to changes in body temperature during sleep.
Absorb moisture
Alpaca fiber absorbs moisture but does not retain it so you feel dry and comfortable. Plus, a breathable, thermo-regulating comforter means less sweat in the first place.
Hypoallergenic
Alpaca fiber has been shown to provide relief for allergy and asthma sufferers.
HILL. s. m.: The best part of the linen once chopped that is separated from the tow and used to make LENZO.
Our linens are made from lenzo, from European harvests, chosen from their places of cultivation and processing to maintain the origin and roots of one of the most natural fabrics in the world.
To make our pieces, we buy linen previously washed in large drums, which beat the fiber to achieve maximum softness, and natural substances are added that advance the softening process. Therefore, it does not shrink or wrinkle.
Linen is a sustainable, ecological and recyclable fabric. Antibacterial and hygroscopic.
All linen used in our production has an international Oeko-Tex conformity certificate and has been tested to meet the environmental requirements of Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
