The thin sheets of mulberry silk are carefully stretched from end to end in a handcrafted process and are fixed to the cotton cover with small lozenges to achieve greater stability, avoiding displacements, and at the same time, allowing the interior circulation of air.
These fillings are a jewel of oriental culture. The mulberry silk thread comes from silkworms that feed on mulberry leaves. The mulberry fiber is stretched to form the silk filling with long silk threads. Here you can see the process in a small village in the Canary Islands.
